An important pair of three-light candelabra in finely chased, patinated
Louis XVI period.
They feature a female figure in antique patinated bronze draped in a long dress and wearing a palliollum.
The central stem supports a white Carrara marble and ormolu amphora with a lotus leaf motif.
topped by a flame.
The three-light bouquet, decorated with torsos and foliage, supports
three antique-style vases adorned with gadroons, fine fluting, pearls and water leaves
and water leaves. The ensemble is embellished with fruit, a crown of pearls
a crown of pearls and chains.
It rests on a circular base in white-veined grey marble adorned with lotus leaves, a pearl and a garland of ivy held in place by two bows.
