Crucifixion - Large Oil On Copper of the 19th century

With 95 cm by 80 cm for the composition alone, this is an unusual format for an oil on copper. Neo-Gothic school in good condition and with lively polychromy. Central element of our composition, Christ is dying. Surrounded by the three Marys and John in Holiness, we also find a classic figure with the centurion Longinus.
All the characters are expressive, overwhelmed and strikingly true.
A golden background enriched with beautiful and multiple arabesques adorns this tragic moment, which although cruel is founding.
