Important chiseled bronze clock set with brown and golden patina.
The clock has a dial in the shape of a regular spider web, inscribed in a mulberry branch, surrounded by thrushes.
The rock base presents animals such as birds, lizards, bees.
The candelabra with seven lights present, in the upper part, a brood of birds, attacked by a weasel.
Around 1860
The model was presented for the first time at the 1851 exhibition at the Crystal Palace, visible on the stand of the bronze maker Matifat.
A similar model with Fratin's signature went on sale in 2013
