Fountain body in Nevers earthenware 17th century

A large Nevers earthenware fountain made around the years
1660-1680, decorated on a blue background in the so-called "candlelight" style.
This famous, highly aesthetic decoration of white spots on an intense blue background
blue background appeared in the 1645s and reached its peak in the
1660-1680 on pieces of various shapes.
Here we have a fine example.
