Souvenir case in gold and imitation lapis lazuli A flat, trapezoid-shaped case in 18-carat gold (only the edges of the escutcheon and clasp are in 14-carat gold), chased with leaves and flowers. The upper part is hinged. On one side is an oval glass mount showing a fishing scene against a pastoral background, while the reverse shows a coat of arms surmounted by a count's crown. The whole is surrounded by gold guilloché on a blue enamel background simulating lapis lazuli. The traditional "d'AMITIE" is replaced by two intersecting quivers.
