Pair of model 790 natural-wood armchairs by Charles André Motte for the Steiner brand, late 1950s.
Charles André Motte (1925-2013) collaborated with Pierre Guariche and Michel Mortier in the ARP (Atelier Recherche Plastique) movement and with Steiner from 1955.
He was responsible for the seats in a number of Paris metro stations, as well as Roissy Charles de Gaulle.
