The lacquer panels are dated by Brugier: China, 19th century
Maria Pergay designed this pair of corner pieces (fig. 1). They are topped with the same marble, taken from the same slice, as the bases of the "Fuoco" lamps (cf. N° 48).
The doors are decorated with a pair of Chinese lacquer panels featuring an elephant.
