Exceptional sterling silver cutlery set.
The cutlery is a net model with a winding at the end of the cut spatula and another at the handle attachment.
The knives have silver filled handles. The model has 6 facets alternating 3 wide with 3 narrower and they are finished with a button.
The blades are stainless steel.

It's composed :
- in the top drawer –
18 table knives, 18 cheese knives,
18 dessert knives, 12 mocha spoons
-In the second drawer-
18 fish forks, 18 fish knives,
9 serving pieces.
In the third drawer -
18 dessert forks, 18 dessert spoons,
18 cake forks, 18 cake spoons,
18 dessert spoons.
In the fourth drawer -
18 table forks, 18 table spoons,
1 ladle, 1 stewing spoon, 1 cream spoon,
12 teaspoons.

The total weight without the knives is 10kg 523gr
Title mark: Head of Minerva - from 1838 -
Goldsmith hallmark: L&L and three stars in a triangle.

This cutlery set is stored in its silver cabinet in mahogany with studded decoration and typical design by André SORNAY.

It opens with two leaves rounded outward to recall the rear uprights. Open, they reveal five drawers, the sockets are vertical strips, the fronts are adorned with plates with studded decoration.
The bottom drawer is not lined to accommodate the silver dishes.
This chest rests on four legs.
This piece of furniture is stamped SORNAY on the front crosspiece.
