This large rectangular tray with two handles features fine chasing. The base is richly guilloché, with an oval reserve in the center featuring the interlaced FC numeral. The background is surrounded by a Greek frieze and floral bindweed motifs in the corners. The wide, molded outer border features a frieze of stylized bellflowers. The corners are decorated with leafy pampers.
The handles are openwork, with rocaille decoration and beautiful attachments on the back.
