Saint John The Baptist, Wooden Subject 19th century

Large statue sculpted in the round and very nicely polychromed, with an expressive and solemn face.
Dressed in a short toga with worked folds, barefoot and without any pageantry, we will not forget that the cousin of Christ, will announce His coming and will baptize Him on the banks of the Jordan.

Dimensions of 109 cm high - 23 wide and 21 cm deep Piece in good condition, note some chips especially on the back of the skull and woodwork.
