A beautiful work of the Flemish school attributed to Frans Francken and his workshop (Antwerp 1581 - 1642). Oak panel, three planks, not parqueted, large (100.5 cm by 74) on a gilded wood frame.
Restorations. Expertized by Mr. René Millet.
This painting is to be compared to the Crucificion of 1606 by the same Frans Francken (1606) exhibited at the Museum of Art History in Vienna.
