An exquisite c. 1860 Victorian burr walnut and brass dome casket, the inside upholstered with beautiful original silk of coloured stripes. Note the beautiful cut and chiselled work on the brass mounts and the handle. Hinges and lock are richly chiselled with floral motifs.
Signed in an inside engraved metal plate "Stocken & Cº Makers. 53, Quadran".
D: 20 x 34,5 x 17 cm.
In very good condition, key is missing.
