Porcelain plate decorated in famille rose enamels with an episode from the" Romance of the Western Chamber". YONGZHENG period (1723-1735). This novel, written at the beginning of the 14th century by Wang Shifu under the name "Xixang Ji" (West Pavilion is a story of love and intrigue which had considerable success and was even adapted into the cinema).
