Painted Sawing Cassette With Architectural Vedutes, Venice Circa 1760

Very beautiful and rare sewing cassette with a light coloured border and ribbon decoration. The ribbons embrace stars with landscapes and architectural views. On the lid is a central needle cushion. The interior of the cassette has two drawers and is decorated with a beautiful floral design. This cassette is a very good example of fine Italian furniture painting. Venice ca. 1760
