Jean Puiforcat Tea-Coffee service in solid silver and its metal tray

Late 20th century French standard 950 silver Epsilon four-piece tea set, Paris circa 1980, designed by Jean Elysée Puiforcat (1897-1945) in 1936.

Comprising a teapot, a hot water jug, a milk jug and a covered sugar bowl. Each piece is tapered cylindrical in shape with incised ribs. The domed lids are topped with walnut finials. Walnut handles are attached to the bodies. Each of them bears the mark and stamp of Puiforcat, Paris. (4)
