Silver Tobacco Box with the portraits of William V (1748 – 1806) prince of Orange and the last stadtholder of the Dutch Republic and his consort Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia (1751 – 1820)

Silver, cased and engraved, with original gilded interior, marked ‘HB’, the key city mark of Leiden with the year letter ‘O’ (1796) and the axe/hatchet mark, (1853-1927, tax mark on old Netherlands hallmarked silver items returning to the market)
