Sarreguemines, platerepresenting a hunting scene, late 19th century

This superb plate is decorated with a hunting scene in which a dog stands alert at the edge of a pond, looking towards birds of prey flying away. The naturalistic rendering is finely rendered here. This piece was made by the Sarreguemines factory at the end of the 19th century.
