Pair of "Fratine" Chairs
Louis XIII era
Early 17th century
Finely carved walnut
Measurements h. 118 l. 45 depth 40
Splendid pair of "Fratine" chairs with richly shaped and carved folders.
They are two very rare jewels from the early 1600s that stand out for their perfect proportions and extreme elegance, as well as for their small size.
In fact, the era is the right one and not one of the many re-editions produced in the following centuries.
The extraordinary natural patina and the right uniform wear due to time are truly exceptional.
They are in excellent condition, authentic in all parts, with no restorations or replacements.
The patina is intact and homogeneous over the entire surface.
