Rectangular snuffbox with rounded sides in gold. The snuffbox is slightly curved so that it can be slipped into a pocket. The box is entirely decorated with finely guilloché panels and each panel is framed by a frieze of burnished scrolls and palmettes on a gold background. The frame and the bottom are decorated with the same geometrical motifs. Fine palmettes adorn the corners.
