Slightly cone-shaped vase made of black crystal ornamented by a sand engraved décor, alternatively dull and bright. The geometric motives, composed of a deep chevron pattern topped by a Zigzag frieze, perfectly depicts the Art Deco aesthetic.
Signed: Monogram under the base in a square.
Remarks: From 1927-28, Jean Luce applies on his glass wares the sand engraving technique. His artworks are conserved in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and in numerous museums worldwide.
