<<<<< From its creation in Paris to its establishment in Sarreguemines in 1852, until its abrupt end, Haffner was a name known the world over. Specializing in safes, the company has forged its identity on its famous round key lock. Historical decoding of a flagship of the earthenware city. Within the Sarreguemines industrial sector, Haffner has always been part of the furniture. The company has employed up to 250 people between its premises in Moselle and Paris. It was one of the flagships of its activity, classified as a safe deposit box manufacturing company in France.
A meteoric rise
Originally, Haffner was first Pierre. A locksmith-mechanic who wants to set up his own safe manufacturing business. He founded the company in 1846 in Paris. Four years later, he patented the famous round key lock, which represents the identity of the company.
With growing success, Pierre Haffner set up a factory in Sarreguemines in 1853. Several workshops were born in the area, such as in Paris. >>>>>

We have all the original keys, as well as the instructions for resetting the safe code.
The interior of the trunk is made up of:
- a part closed by key
- 2 shelves adjustable in height
It has its original green patina.
CABINET
The top band is embellished with many ingot molds,
the bronzes are rich and of quality.
Central panel with panel with a very luminous arabesque marquetry with birds of paradise, dragons, chimera masks, satyrs, vases of abundance, burlesque scenes ....
