BACCARAT - LAGRIFFOUL & LAVAL - Two crystal and sterling silver decanters

Superb pair of orange or water decanters by the goldsmiths LAGRIFFOUL & LAVAL, crystal decanters from BACCARAT.
The body is decorated with twisted ribs, the cut-off collars finely engraved with a superb count's crown surmounting a monogram in foliated English letters. These decanters are adorned with hammered solid silver frames.

Marks
• French "Minerve 1er titre" (mark for solid silver 950 °/°°).
• Master goldsmith, "L.L. and three stars in a triangle" for LAGRIFFOUL & LAVAL.

The capacity of each is 110 cl.

Of great classic elegance, these decanters receive an astonishingly modern hammered silver frame. They probably date from the beginning of the twentieth century and the taste known as "Art Deco".
