Two glazed stoneware baluster vases - Ming period

Suite of two vases of baluster shape in enamelled stoneware of turquoise and eggplant color with decoration in relief, for the one of bouquets of chrysanthemums and insects and for the other vase of flowers of Lotus and pierced rock, this vase presents a crack on a side, wears and micro-chips on the decorations in relief Vases of Ming period with chased and gilded bronze mounts of Regency style of the 19th century.

Provenance : These vases come from the Edouard Larcade collection, nephew of Mrs Lelong who created the collection. You will find in photo the representation of these two vases in page 18 under the numbers 39 and 41 of the catalog, bound leather of the collection by Georges Bal. These two vases have a slightly different size.
