Pair Of Louis XV Chairs Stamped Pierre Nogaret, Received Master In 1745

Pair of carved and molded walnut chairs, bearing the stamp of the famous Lyonnais carpenter Pierre Nogaret (1718 - 1771).
They have an elegant decoration of flowers, staples and foliage on the lower and upper rails.
These two pretty caned chairs have arched legs adorned with foliage.
The sculptures as well as the moldings are characteristic of Pierre Nogaret's production.
