Ariadne, ivory bust, Dieppe, XVIIIth century

XVIIIth century ivory figure on a wooden cylindrical base, representing a bust of Ariadne, dressed with a light drapery, both breasts naked. High quality of its neoclassical hairstyle, with several braids and curls finely sculpted.

Condition: scratch in the nose, several small losses on the bottom of the bust.

Dimensions: 9 cm, 14 cm including base.
