Superb silver preserve dish, resting on a quadrangular pedestal ending in four ball feet, richly chased and pierced with two scenes in the Antique style.
The body is surmounted by an elegant ogee-shaped lid, topped with a swan with outstretched wings forming a particularly decorative finial. The ensemble features remarkable Neoclassical-inspired decoration, characteristic of French silverware from the first half of the 19th century.
The preserve dish is accompanied by twelve vermeil spoons, decorated with shell and scroll motifs, perfectly matching the ensemble.
It retains its original glass liner.

A very fine ensemble, in good condition.
