Eugène-Henri Cauchois (1850–1911), known as “Langlois,” bouquet of crysanthemums

Framed oil on canvas executed by Cauchois painter Eugêne-Henri (Rouen 1850.-1911 Paris) under the pseudonym "Langlois" depicting a bouquet of crysanthemums, from the second half of the 19th century.

Signed by the painter "Langlois" (pseudonym), lower left of the painting.

Student of Ferdinand Duboc and Alexandre Cabanel, Heni Cauchois specialized in still-life compositions.

His tansleaux are preserved in museums such as the Musée des Beaux Arts in Angers, Rouen, Perpignan, Louviers, the Musée d'ingres in Montauban.

The artist first participated in the Paris Salon in 1874 and sent his works to the Salon des Artistes Français in 1881, 1890, 1898, 1904 and 1908.

He also took part in the Exposition Universelle in 1900.
