Offered by Emmanuel Redon Silver Fine Art
Silverware and Silversmith of the 19th and 20th centuries
Elegant and understated, this mustard pot features a truncated conical silhouette characteristic of the 1920s and 30s, combining a smooth body with a finely chiseled, fluted base. The hinged lid has a dark wood stop and a side loop, complementing the functional aesthetic of the Art Deco style. It has a beautiful patina from use, with a few micro-scratches consistent with its age that do not detract from its charm or the legibility of the hallmarks. A rare piece combining silversmithing expertise and period design, it is ideal for an elegant table setting or a silver collection.
