Vase created and executed by Désiré Christian in colorless glass lined with amethyst, blown and tooled. "Iris" decoration in relief, acid-etched and wheel-worked, chased on a lathe against a frosted background. The decoration is highlighted in gold. Signed BS&C Verrerie D'Art De Lorraine in the medallion with a thistle and the Cross of Lorraine engraved with a pontil mark, circa 1884-1889. Height: 23 cm. Listed in the book "Le génie Verrier de l’Europe" by Giuseppe Cappa.
