Désiré Christian - Truncated cone-shaped vase in thick multi-layer blown crystal, colorless, milky white and and honey-brown yellow. The decoration is adorned with thistle branches and a set of three cartels, irregularly shaped and surrounded by fine friezes, is engraved with painted decorations in polychrome enamels and enhanced with gold, representing an allegory of taste and smell illustrated by two female figures surrounded by rose branches and marked Taste and "SES". At top right, a pheasant and at bottom left, a hare are surrounded by oak leaves and acorns. The vase is unsigned.
