A little Indo-Portuguese bezoar stone holder, silver and parcel gilt;c.1690, probably Goa; of ovoid form with two interlocking halves; gilding to the central ring; each half has a plain silver lining, and the thicker outer shell with typical pierced foliate decoration; each end has a gilded rosette motif.
Approx. 3.7 cms diameter, and weighing approx. 1.2 ozs.
