Pair of Chinese Kangxi Period Porcelain Candlesticks

Very Rare Pair of Chinese Export Porcelain Night or Toilet Candlesticks, Kangxi Period (1662–1722)
Porcelain modeled after European silver forms, finely decorated in famille verte enamels with blossoming prunus branches against a radiating ground of lotus-petal panels edged with lotus flowers. A closely related example is held in the Groninger Museum, The Netherlands, and illustrated in Christiaan Jörg, Chinese Ceramics in the Collection of the Groninger Museum, 1997, p. 154, no. 153.
