Silverware and Silversmith of the 19th and 20th centuries
Large oval tray with geometric contours, solid silver frame accented with ribbed threads. The carved wooden side handles, with fan-shaped ribbed decoration, create a refined contrast between the brilliance of the metal and the warmth of the wood. Belgian work by silversmith Albert Charlent, active in the first half of the 20th century. An elegant piece representative of the Belgian Art Deco style, combining geometric rigor and noble materials.
