The central scene depicts "The Courage of Muzio Scevola" by Appiani; the rim is adorned with allegories of the four cardinal virtues, interspersed with acanthus leaf scrolls. 78 x 100 cm; 5250 g; hallmark: Speronari 3 Milan and fineness 800.
