Pair of ornamental vases reassembled in lamps at a later date. These are two baluster vases composed of an ormolu pedestal, decorated with water leaves and laurel leaves, resting on a quadrangular base of the same metal supporting a turned marble body (Amethyst ? Blue John ? Fluorspar ?) ; the upper part receives a flared neck decorated with ormolu gadroons and leaves.
French work, late 18th / early 19th century.
