Beautiful Louis XVI-inspired baluster-shaped chandelier, in crystal and silvered bronze mount. The central shaft, made of threads, is lit by 12 indirect lights and 12 light-arms ending in bobeches resting on leafy basins. A central crown, supporting elegant heart-shaped daggers, is suspended by garlands of round and oval faceted crystal beads from the light-arms and the top of the chandelier. Numerous pendants, prisms, flowers, daggers and drops, some of which are amber, adorn the whole, which ends with a faceted sphere.

The model of these chandeliers is named “Marie-Antoinette” in homage to Queen Marie-Antoinette (1755-1793) who redesigned the Petit Trianon when she moved in, in 1777, as for this similar chandelier located in the Grande Salle à manger of the Petit Trianon (see photo attached)
