Faceted crystal confiturier set in a silver globe-shaped frame, resting on a foot with cut sides. The handles decorated with foliage and grooves join in the upper part the support to twelve spoons. The dome-shaped lid is topped with two exposed godronnées. Probably Baccarat crystal. Twelve vermeil spoons are included.
Minerve mark, from 1838
Hallmark of master silversmith FRAY Martial (active between 1849 and 1861) can be seen on the upper circle. This silversmith is in the collections of the Musée d'Orsay.
