A huge 18th-19th c. marble Buddha head

Large head (height 40) of Buddha in marble with traces of polychromy, half-closed eyes, surmounted by the Usnisha cranial protuberance, painted in black lacquer (wear). The base of the curly hairstyle highlighted with gold leaf. Missing earlobes. Very beautiful presence due to the size and quality of execution. Burma, Mandalay, 18th or 19th c. 40x24, depth 27
