Beautiful and elegant mahogany rocking pedestal table, Louis XVI period circa 1780, second half of the 18th century.
The pedestal table presented here stands on three wide legs supporting an octagonal top with a wide rim framing a Portor marble plaque.
The top is rocking.
Portor marble is a very rare marble, mined in Italy and Corsica since Antiquity.

In perfect condition.
