Josef Hoffmann designed a dining room (consisting of a dining table, six armchairs, a large buffet and two small pillar cabinets) for the Paris World Exhibition in 1900, which was realised by the Viennese cabinetmaker Anton Pospischil. The pier cupboard we are offering can be interpreted as a reference to Hoffmann's designs. The lower body of the credenza is divided into a drawer and a drawer-style cabinet.
