Reliquary Saints Reparati & Amadai Vatican Seals - 18th Century

With its exceptional pontifical seals, our obelisk monstrance in carved and gilded wood is crowned with a crown and a cross symbolizing the double reign of Christ, earthly and celestial reign. It honors a notable relic of Saint Reparati, Martyr.
The said relic consists of a bagged ulna. It is placed vertically on red velvet.
The base is decorated with a medallion in which a second ex-ossibus relic is displayed. Saint Amadai, also a Martyr, is honored here.
The back of the reliquary, opening, reveals red wax seals, thereby authenticating the relics presented.
These seals represent two keys of Saint Peter placed in a saltire and surmounted by a tiara with the following inscription: “servus servorum Dei tu es Petrus”.
This is the official seal of the Vatican, giving additional spiritual value to this remarkable piece.
Excellent condition, re-gilded.
