Large Nevers earthenware basin with two satyrs seated on the pedestal, decorated in blue monochrome on the inside with a scene from Honoré d'Urfé's Astrée depicting Célion kneeling before Bélinde, after Michel Lasne's engraving based on Daniel Rabel's (1647 edition.) The bowl is decorated with four mascaron heads in relief, alternating with flowers and leaves, insects and birds, also found on the pedestal. Leaves in a band around the edge, underlined by blue fillets.
Last quarter of the 17th century.

Misses and chips on the foot and rim of the basin, enamel marks on the satyrs.
