Pair of large wooden vases with lacquer decoration

The decoration of the vases is inspired by the influence of the "Famille Vert". The characteristic landscape decoration with figures and architectural elements extends across the entire body of the baluster. The original lids feature the same decoration.
The vases came from a villa in Piedmont and had been in a private collection since the 19th century.
The body has gaps in the lacquer.
