GUERIDON, so-called "TABLE À OUVRAGE"
Louis XVI style, Paris ca. 1860, signed on a plaque Paul Sormani Rue Charlot 10 Paris (Paul Sormani,
1817-1877). After a model by Martin Carlin.
Tulipwood and amaranth inlaid with leaf scrolls and fillets. Round "Sèvres" porcelain top decorated with flowers and a turquoise border, framed by a gilt, pierced brass rail, on a straight frame with one drawer.
Drum-shaped lower section with two crescent-shaped lids opening into four compartments, on four fluted legs with leaf-shaped sabots and casters.
D 36 cm, H 81.5 cm.
