Recurring elements
The white bowl, like the cat, the vinegar cellar, the jug of water and the lit fireplace are recurring elements in almost all of Zampighi's paintings.

Authenticity
This pair of paintings are original works by the painter E. Zampighi (Modena, 1859 - 1944).

Their analysis using the infrared lamp reveals no obvious signs of reconstruction.

The signatures are original and contemporary with the painting.

Viewing them from the back allows us to see how they were only relined to ensure support.
