A pair of neoclassical tripod polychrome and parcel gilt carved wood stands for holding torcheres or candlesticks, a late 18th century Neapolitan work .

A second pair en suite with this one but repainted and regilt was in the collection of Baron Alexis de Redé at Hotel Lambert , Paris ( Sotheby's sale, 17 March 2005 , n° 806)
