Imposing solid oak mantel.entirely carved, with a laurel motif on the top crosspiece, it is adorned in the center with a coat of arms topped by a knight's helm.the inscription "aimer sans crainte" ("love without fear") can be read.
The jambs feature inverted fluted torsos.
Very fine quality of sculpture.
