Since 1930, the Galerie L'Époque, located at 22 rue de Miromesnil, has been exhibiting and publishing the work of André Arbus. The decorator reached the peak of his career in the early 1950s when, after revisiting Rambouillet, he was commissioned to fit out some of the world's largest liners, including the Provence, Bretagne, Vietnam and Jean Laborde. It's from this period that the suite of sconces presented here dates, born of a collaboration with Veronese. These sconces were created using the skills of Murano's master glassmakers.
