It is composed of 4 small drawers on both sides
on the front 2 small cornices with 2 sculptures in patinated bronze
A woman and a man drapped in Antique style
A door with a flap framed by a frieze in silver with foliage
In its centre a boxwood cartouche carved representing the abdication
of an Emperor droppin his laurel crown and captioned:
« I have governed without fear and I abdicat dread »
