Bronze foot, Roman period, 1st-2nd century A.D.

Right foot of a male bronze statue with the whole sole on the ground. The static posture suggests that this was the engaged leg, naturalistic rendering of the preserved thick and small toes, the bones of which are clearly visible under the surface. The two ankles are also finely reproduced.
